(Here's my attempt to translate a recent poem by the very talented Varun Grover.)
All you need is one bird,
to turn a cage into the skies.
All you need is one nap,
to turn a rock into a bed.
A gaze, only one gaze,
that doesn't lower in the emperor’s pomp.
A voice, only one voice,
that bears the truth in its word.
All you need is one tree,
to turn desert into ocean.
Just as how all you need is one cat,
to make pretty a world falling apart.
